The Indiana University School of Music gave me Andreas' name when, as a Bloomington resident, I was seeking a high-quality piano instructor.  Andreas was surpassingly excellent in every way and I felt very fortunate to be his student.

His attention to musical line and form, his awesome skill teaching voicing and balance, his technical expertise, and his vast knowledge of piano repertoire and music as a whole are simply fantastic.  He is a first-rate teacher, and I mean first-rate, and extraordinarily talented as a pianist.

His teaching style is straightforward and clear, gentle and consistent, and still manages to be challenging (even rigorous!), effective, and highly motivation.  Lessons with him are truly something to look forward to!

Andreas is a terrific person and an unparalleled piano instructor.  I highly recommend him; with great enthusiasm, to students of any level, from most novice to most advanced.
